Miss Safina Ali

MBChB FRCS (ORL-HNS)

Consultant ENT/Head & Neck Surgeon

Miss Safina Ali is a graduate of the University of Glasgow.

Her specialist Ear, Nose & Throat training was in Edinburgh and Aberdeen. During this time Miss Ali completed a Research Fellowship from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre, New York. She then went onto do two Royal College of Surgeons of England post- CCT Fellowships in Advanced Head & Neck Cancer Surgery at Guys and St Thomas’ and then Charing Cross Hospital.

After fellowship training, Miss Ali has been a consultant ENT/ Head & Neck Surgeon at the Royal London and University College Hospitals since February 2016. Miss Ali is a core member of the head and neck cancer team based between the Royal London and University College London Hospitals. She maintains a busy practice in the mangement of adult ENT conditions with her sub-specialist interest in head and neck cancer.

Miss Ali is well published in peer reviewed journals, and has presented her work at major national and international research meetings. She holds a Research Fellowship from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York. She is an avid teacher, trainer and is passionate about surgical training.

Miss Ali is interested in all aspects of clinical outcomes and quality of life improvement in patients with Head and Neck cancer. She has a research fellowship from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre, New York.
